Steps to Submit an Idea
1. Within the idea portal, select the product your idea pertains to:
2. Complete the Your idea field. This field will serve as the title of your idea. To attract the right amount of votes from other Terra Dotta users, make sure the title clearly conveys your idea:

- Who needs the functionality?: Indicate the user persona this functionality would benefit. Some examples would be an admin, student, recommender, or approver.
- Why do they need the functionality?: Indicate what the user will be able to accomplish if this functionality is added.
- WHAT is the improvement you would like to see and HOW will it better support your institution? : Indicate what exactly how you would like to see the feature implemented (interface, feature flow, etc.)
Note: Adding photos to your idea submission helps visually clarify your concept, making it easier for others to understand and engage with.
4. Optional: Add the challenges of the current functionality and the potential gains to highlight the problem you're solving as well as the value your idea could bring. This is an additional opportunity to communicate why your idea is compelling and relevant to others.
