Using Tags
Application Tags
An application tag, or app tag, serves as a digital label or sticky note that is added to applications. Application tags only appear to administrators and are not visible to applicants. Some common uses for application tags are:
- To draw attention to a certain aspect of the application or applicant.
- To narrow down application search results.
Application tags are added to and removed from applications in one of the following ways:
- Application Finder: Use the batch "Add/Remove Tag" option to perform actions on more than one application at a time.
- Application Admin Manager: Apply or remove a tag from an individual application.
- Application Triggers: For some triggers, it is possible to select the action to add/remove an application tag when the condition of a trigger is met.
Application tags can be applied and saved as filters when narrowing down a list of applications in Application Finder. They can also be used as data points on which to report in Analytics.
Process Element Tags
For offices who have transitioned to using the features of the Applicant Experience and Admin Console, process element tags are not currently supported. Admins are able to use the Tags menu to delete any unused process element tags that were created for use with classic functionality. However, it is not possible to apply process element tags that are created to corresponding elements in the Admin Console at this time.
