This article provides a brief tour of the ISSS Administrative view of the Student Profile header to help ISSS Admins better understand the information and actions available to them.
Overview of the Student Profile Header
The header is the first thing an ISSS Admin will notice when entering a Student Profile. It provides an organized, easy-to-read snapshot of some of the most important student information. It also provides ISSS Admins with quick access to common administrative actions with a simple click of the mouse.
Options
Several icons appear in the upper right hand corner of the Student Profile. These icons provide ISSS Admins easy access to common administrative actions they can take on the student’s profile.
The options available via each icon are described below:
View as Student: allows ISSS Admins to view and experience the Student Portal from the student’s perspective.
Generate Letter: compose a letter to the student or apply an existing letter template.
Email: compose and send an email to the student.
RTI Connect: navigate to student’s SEVIS profile from within ISSS Student.
Verify: validate profile information.
The 3 vertical dots to the right of the Verify icon provide 2 more options: SEVIS Actions and Current I-20.
SEVIS Actions: produces a list of actions ISSS Admin can take on a student profile.
Current I-20: opens a copy of the student’s most recent I-20 in a separate tab.
