Access
The Site Settings tab can be accessed as follows:
1) Click the Hamburger Menu icon in the top right of the page
2) Select Configuration > Site Settings.
Site Settings
Upon navigating to Configuration > Site Settings, admins will land on the Site Settings tab by default.
Important Note: Changes made on the Site Settings tab impact both Student and Scholar.
The Site Settings tab allows admins to take the following actions:
Configure Your Site's Primary and Secondary Color
Note: It is not recommended to set black or white as primary or secondary colors. Doing so will cause interruptions with hard-coded font colors. Additionally, it may be necessary to log out and log back in to see the color change immediately.
Customize Your Login
- Institution Login Welcome Text will appear at the top of the Login Portal (A)
- Institution Login Button Text will appear on the internal login button (B)
- The uploaded Login Page Logo will display at the top of the modal (C).
Note: The image should be no bigger than 150x150 pixels.
Enable ISSS Student
Important Note: This toggle should not be used until your institution completes an adoption round with assistance from Terra Dotta. Click here to learn more about this process: Transitioning to ISSS Student.
Enable/Disable Document Previsualization
Document Previsualization allows admins to preview documents before downloading or printing them. This setting can be enabled or disabled by navigating to Site Settings>Document Previsualization and selecting Yes or No:
After making their selection the admin should then select click Update and Synchronize and Apply changes. By default, Document Previsualization will be toggled to "No."
To see this feature in action, open a record and navigate to the Documents tab:
Next, click the file name to launch the document preview modal:
From here, the admin can choose to print, download, or close the document.
The following file types are able to be previewed:
-
-
-
- TXT
- Images (PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, etc.)
-
-
Other file types, such as zip files and Microsoft documents, (XLS, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX), cannot be previewed at this time,
Applying Changes
Once the admin is sure of the actions/changes they have taken on the Site Settings page, they should click Update and Synchronize and Apply changes, (found at the bottom of the page), before leaving the Site Settings tab.
