Uploading a New Image
Before uploading a new image to the Image Library, it is recommended that you re-size the image to the desired size. This is because photo editing software usually provides better resizing results in terms of image clarity.
To upload a new image, click the 'New Image' tab located at the top of the screen.
Browse for the name of the image file by clicking the 'Choose File’ button.
Enter a brief description of the image in the 'Description' text box. Select a folder where you want to store the image from the 'Folder' drop-down list box. The default option is for all images to be saved in the 'Uncategorized’ folder.
You can also select the maximum width or height of the picture, this must be configured by pixels. You have several rotation options:
- You can constrain the size of the image by choosing the maximum numbers of pixels
- Rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise
- Prevent a thumbnail image from being generated by clicking 'Override server-side image reprocessing.’
