Overview
Campus data systems integration hinges on the unique, universal, unchanging identifier (UUUID) designated to link Terra Dotta applications with the SIS, HR and SCL (user authN). If a change is made to the identifier used for this purpose after user data has entered the system will require a database scrub to remedy the issue. Such a remedy will require the involvement of institutional IT services to provide a conversion table that maps the old to the new UUUID.
Likewise, whenever a user's UUUID changes, that user is no longer able to log in or have data refresh function. An individual UUUID can be changed in Maintenance > Edit User, or directly in tbl_Users.User_Name. Note that under normal circumstances, UUUIDs would not change by their nature as unchanging identifiers.
