The core data fields for user records are:
- First name - required
- Middle name
- Last name - required
- Gender
- Date of birth
- Email address- required
- Username (Unique) - required
All users in your site will have these core data fields natively in their individual user records of your database. This means that if you wish to be able to view this data, it will not be necessary to have these created as mapped SIS student parameters in your system.
These fields for user records are configured in Maintenance -> SIS/HR Mappings -> SIS/HR Integration Settings
The 'SIS SQL SELECT Statement' determines the field from the SIS datasource that is used to populate the core data fields for the integrated users and instructions for how this statement is configured can be found in the technical documentation regarding the integration of Terra Dotta software with information systems.
Non-integrated users of the system provide these core data fields when they request their user logins. Adjustments to these fields can be made by an administrator through the Maintenance -> Edit User interface.
