If an applicant would like all system-generated emails sent to them to also be sent to an email address other than their primary email address, they can enter a CC Email Address on their profile.
To enable the use of the CC Email Address, navigate to Settings > System Features > Applicants and check the box for the "Applicant CC Email Address" setting. Providing a CC Email address will now be optional for every user on your site who has a profile.
Once a user has a profile, they will see basic information from the "Profile" tab on their Applicant Home Page. This includes a field for "CC email address".
After the applicant has entered and saved a CC Email Address, that email address will receive copies of system-generated emails, such as reminders.
It is also possible for an admin to make updates to the CC Email Address from the "Profile" tab of an application in Application Admin Manager.
- When an applicant's profile contains a CC Email Address and an admin clicks on the option to send that applicant an email from Application Admin Manager, it is expected that the WYSIWYG editor that appears will not populate the CC field with this CC Email Address. However, a sent email is considered a system-generated email, and it will be sent to the CC Email Address.
- Query watch emails are sent to a distinct list of email addresses. For this process, the CC Email Address cannot be used because it is not linked to the user's account.
