Overview

This KB provides an overview of the SEVIS Profile Registration display and functionality in the SEVIS Admin.

The SEVIS Profile is separate from the Terra Dotta Profile and is a "one-stop shop" for staff to view everything in a student's or scholar's SEVIS past, present, and future, providing the most critical and frequently-used information in a simple way. Most of the information has also been adapted from SEVIS RTI to streamline the information gathering process.

NOTE: Exchange Visitor SEVIS Profiles do not display a Registration Section because the Validation (J) event is only completed once per program. The information from the Validation (J) event is shown in the Personal Section.




The Registration Section will include information on:

• Initial Session Start Date
• Current Session Start Date
• Current Session End Date
• Next Session Start Date
• Length of Next Break/Vacation
• Last Session
• Study/Research Abroad
• Thesis/Dissertation
