AlertTraveler® allows users to create Check-in and Reminder templates for all their office’s needs, facilitating faster and more consistent communication when their travelers are affected by alerts.

Access and Permissions
Templates is accessed by navigating to AlertTraveler®>Templates.
In order to use Templates users must have the following permissions:
AlertTraveler: Template View/Apply
AlertTraveler: Template/Edit Remove
AlertTraveler: Create Check-ins
For optimal performance, the user should be in the AlertTraveler permission group, or the Group Leaders AT group (if their access should be limited to only those whose travel they are leading).
Creating Templates
The Templates tab shows all templates available for use with Check-Ins. Clicking the ‘Check-In Reminders’ button will allow amins to see all templates available for use when sending a check-in reminder:
Click ‘New Template’ on the desired view to create a new template for that purpose. The pop up screen allows admins to name the template, add a description and include a message for the body of the check-in as well as a message for corresponding SMS check-ins:
Once the content is ready, click ‘Create’ and the template will be saved.
Using Templates
Templates are available in both the web portal and the admin app. On the Check-In request creation page, at the top is a ‘Template’ drop down with all available templates showing:
Select the template:
Then edit the details as necessary and click ‘Create Request’:
If an admin wishes to choose a different template, they can do so and the configuration options will automatically update.
Click ‘Clear Template’ to go back to the blank configuration option.
