The Exchange Balance Information stock report is a function that allows an admin user to select exchange balances and specific application cycles and execute an export to an Excel document that includes all exchange balance numbers for the selected balance(s) during the selected period(s).
Self-service stock reports can be accessed from the 'My Queries and Reports' panel of the Admin Home Page. Click the 'Stock Reports' file icon for an expanded list of any reports installed. A 'Browse TDCL' button appears, allowing clients to browse and import stock reports independently. Once installed, the Exchange Balance Information report (rpt ExchangeBalances) will be available in the 'Stock Reports' section and accessible by administrators with the following permissions:
- Applicant Admin: Stock Reports
- Applicant Admin : Editing Exchange Balances
After clicking on the name of the stock report, the admin will be taken to a page where they can select the names of the exchange balances they wish to report on and the application cycles to include in the report.
Note: In order for the report to properly export the relevant information, your included exchange balances need to include a program filter in both groups in their settings. Exchange balances created using only a partner institution filter may not display reported information correctly if there is a discrepancy of Terms in use by each group.
An Excel file will then be generated with the following data columns populated for the selected exchange balance(s) and application cycle(s):

- Country (Group 1)
- Region (Group 1)
- Balance Group 1: Selected Exchange Programs
- Balance Group 1: Selected Home Institutions
- Balance Group 1: Selected Partner Institutions
- City (Group 2)

- Balance Group 2: Selected Exchange Programs
- Balance Group 2: Selected Home Institutions
- Balance Group 2: Selected Partner Institutions

- Group 1 Quota

- Group 2 Non-Exchange

Notes:
- For each individual exchange balance selected to be included, one row in the report will be populated in columns V through Y with the historical totals for that balance.
- For columns B through G and H through M in the report, the information being pulled is only populated if applications exist in the corresponding application cycle for that exchange balance. Blank information in those fields indicates that there are no applications currently in that app cycle.
- Data Access Object restrictions are not applied to the output of this report meaning an administrator who runs this report could access exchange numbers for programs that would otherwise be restricted by a data access object.
