Questionnaires that have been configured to be 'Internal Use' are questionnaires that will be built and deployed just like any other questionnaire, but instead of these questionnaires appearing on the application page to be completed by the applicants, they only appear to the administrators on the 'questionnaires' tab of the application administration interface.
Internal-use questionnaires are most effective for tracking application-level data that is not going to be entered by and/or visible to the applicants. In some cases, applicant parameters can be used for this, but the data stored in an applicant parameter is the same across all of the applicant's applications. Internal-use questionnaires can be used to gather application specific information that the office wishes to keep internal.
The internal use questionnaires are built in the same way as the regularly deployed questionnaires:
- build the question items required
- create the internal use questionnaire with those question items (be sure to mark it as 'internal-use')
- go to the app cycle process maps and check off the questionnaire for the app cycles where you want it deployed
This will make the internal-use questionnaires a part of the applications in those app cycles just like any other questionnaires except that it will only be visible to the administrators - it will not appear on the application pages to the applicants.
NOTE: The internal-use questionnaires will NOT display to reviewers when they are viewing applications from the 'My Reviews' pane of the reviewer home page.
