This KB provides an overview of the SEVIS Profile Employment data display and functionality.

The SEVIS Profile, separate from the Terra Dotta Profile, is a "one-stop shop" for staff to view everything in a student's or scholar's SEVIS past, present, and future, providing the most critical and frequently-used information in a simple way. Most of the information has also been adapted from SEVIS to streamline the information gathering process.

Employment Section for CPT

For CPT, the Employment Section will include information on:

• Employer Name
• Status
• Employment Dates
• Full-Time/Part-Time
• If the student has more than one CPT record, click the View Employment History button to see the historical information.

Note: CPT Edit is not available via batch. To complete a CPT Edit update, use RTI Connect. 

Employment Section for OPT

For OPT, the Employment Section will include information on:

• OPT USCIS Approved Dates
• Status
• Employer Name
• Receipt Number
• OPT Requested Dates
• Employer Dates
• If the student has more than one OPT record or employer information, click the View Employment History button to view the historical information.
