This KB provides an overview of the SEVIS Profile Communication display and functionality.
The SEVIS Profile is a "one-stop shop" for staff to view everything in a SEVIS record, providing the most critical and frequently-used information in a simple way. Most of the information has been adapted from SEVIS RTI to streamline the information gathering process.
The Comments Section includes information about:
- Advisor who made the comment
- Date comment was made
- Full comment placed in user's Terra Dotta record
- Type of comment or program the comment was associated with
By clicking the Send Email button, an admin now has the ability to send an email directly to the user. The email can be formatted in a WYSIWYG editor and includes mail merge and template functionality.
A copy of your sent email and any comments that you write in can be found with date stamps listed in the Communication panel, with the most recent displaying on top.
By clicking the link in the Location column, the admin can read an expanded version of the email or comment.
