SEVIS Admin > Settings > SEVIS Mappings

This is where DSO/ARO Admins will be able to see what Terra Dotta platform question items (right column) are mapped to specific SEVIS fields (left column) related to adding or updating an F/M student's academic objective information.

Academic Objective Information (F/M) - Admin/User View

Below is that the questionnaire that contains SEVIS-mapped question items in the Terra Dotta platform related to a student's academic objective information, as scripted by the Auto-mapping script. This questionnaire (entitled ' Academic Objective Information (F/M)') is scripted to appear in an F/M student's ' Academic Objective' record, under the ' Questionnaires' tab.

Click the yellow edit pencilto the right of each question item to confirm their type.

Issue Reason

Question Name: "Issue Reason" is the name that will display in the Academic Objective Information (F-M) questionnaire. This could be changed if desired.

Question Type: Must be set to "Data Lookup". If the type is changed, SEVIS actions will not be verified in the SEVIS Admin.

Question Options: The appropriate Data Lookup table must be selected. For issue reason, "StudentCreationReasonCodes" must be selected.

Remarks

Question Name: "Remarks" is the name that will display in the Academic Objective Information (F-M) questionnaire. This could be changed if desired.

Question Type: Must be set to "Short Description". If the type is changed, SEVIS actions will not be verified in the SEVIS Admin.

Question Name: "Commuting from Canada or Mexico?" is the name that will display in the Academic Objective Information (F-M) questionnaire. This could be changed if desired.
