This article outlines the steps to batch an F/M Program: Edit batch update in Terra Dotta ISSS.
The Program: Edit update can update any of the following fields in an existing SEVIS Record:
- Education Level
- Major
- Secondary Major
- Minor
- Length of Study
- English Proficiency Required?
- English Proficiency Requirement Met?
- English Proficiency Not Required Reason
STEP 1: Update or Review Program Info
The Program information updated in the Program: Edit SEVIS batch action is contained in the Terra Dotta Profile, and Academic Objective (F/M) record. You will associate the Academic Objective to this update when creating the Batch Update record.
Terra Dotta Profile
User parameters contained in a Terra Dotta Profile are most often integrated with an institution's Student Information System (SIS). To update these fields, the change must be made in the SIS; these changes will appear in Terra Dotta after the next regular scheduled data update.
If a Terra Dotta site is not integrated with an institution's SIS, then these fields can be manually edited by Admins and/or Users in the Terra Dotta Profile's Information tab.

Academic Objective Record (F/M)
Additional question items are in an Academic Objective (F/M) record that are used by the SEVIS Admin when adding a Program: Edit action to a batch. Listed below are the relevant questionnaire and question items associated with this action.
Education Information Questionnaire
A) Length of Study
B) English Proficiency Required for Program?
C) If Yes, does the student have the required English proficiency?
D) Reason English Proficiency Not Required for Program
Step 2: Create SEVIS Update Record
