Overview
This article explains how to delete a pending SEVIS Update Record in the SEVIS Admin: Pending Updates.
A pending SEVIS update record can be deleted in two ways:
- From the Pending Updates tab of the SEVIS Admin OR
- From the SEVIS Profile
From the Pending Updates tab of the SEVIS Admin
To delete a pending SEVIS Update Record, first identify the record that you wish to delete, then check the box to the left of the update.
Next, click Options. Then, click Delete update record.
The pending update record will be deleted. A success message will display to confirm the deletion.
From the SEVIS Profile
To delete a pending SEVIS Update Record go to the SEVIS Profile of the user whose pending update record you wish to delete.
The tabs on the left display your options. Select Pending SEVIS Update Records.
You will be taken to the Pending SEVIS Update Records for that user.
- Click on the link for the Pending Update you wish to delete.
- Within the Pending Update record, click the Remove button to delete the record from the update action.
- Click the SEVIS Profile button from within the update record. When you return to Pending SEVIS Update Records in the SEVIS Profile, you will now see a live link to Delete the update record. Click Delete.
The pending update record will be deleted. A success message will display to confirm the deletion.
