Activity Generation
An agreement can automatically show activity from linked study abroad programs. To setup the automatic linkage, make sure the following steps are in place:
-
Link the agreement to a program: Visit Agreement > Agreements > from the far right three-line menu for the agreement, Edit/Review > Activities. In the middle of the page, under "Linked Programs" search for the study abroad program and select the related program.
- Verify applicant parameters: The site has applicant parameters for College, Department, and Major.
Activity is eligible to be transmitted when the following conditions are in place:
- An application exists for the linked program
- One or more of the application’s itinerary locations matches with the agreement location
- At least one day from the application itinerary is within the active dates of the agreement
- The applicant has values on their profile for College, Department, and Major
A background task runs multiple times per day to automatically import activity. The activity will show as:
-
Student abroad activity will be added per term per program
-
Multiple applicants with the same College, Department, and Major will be shown as one participant.
- Activity will be grouped based on the status of the application
-
Participated: the number of confirmed/accepted applications
-
Expressed Interest: the number of pending applications
-
Importing Activity
Navigating to Agreements > Agreements displays a continually updated list of every agreement in the system. Clicking the three lines to the right of the agreement pulls up a menu to manage that specific agreement. Clicking 'Import Activities' allows you to import all activity related to the agreement.
Within the import window there is a Template available for download. This template must be used for the activity import to work but can be saved and reused; it does not have to be downloaded each time.
Once the file is ready, it can be uploaded via the drag and drop feature or via the Browse button.

Once the file is imported, you can view the results of the file by clicking the download icon.
