Overview
This KB article reviews the different statuses that a request may have and how an ISSS Admin can change the status of a request. A request status can be viewed in both the Requests tab of a student's profile and from the Student Request List.
Request Statuses
There are the statuses that a request can be in, they are the following:

Draft: This request has been saved by the student or ISSS Admin to complete at a later time and has not been submitted to the ISSS Admin

Approver Review: The request has been submitted and had an approver form attached to it. The request in this status is awaiting a response from the Approver

In Review: The request has been reviewed by the ISSS Admin, but no further action has been taken

Submitted: The request has been submitted by the student and no further action has been taken by the ISSS Admin in processing the request

Clarification Requested: This request has been sent back to the student for further information

Approved: The ISSS Admin has approved the request and if it is a SEVIS-Mapped request, this request can be included in a batch or post to RTI

Awaiting Adjudication: The request awaiting adjudication from SEVIS

Completed: This request has been processed, if a SEVIS-Mapped request, it has been batched or posted to RTI. This will move the request to the Completed Requests section

Dismissed: The request has been denied. This will move the request to the Completed Requests section
Changing the Request Status
To change the status of a request, the ISSS Admin will navigate to the student's profile and click into the Requests tab. Once in the Requests tab, find the request in the Pending Requests section or the Completed Requests section.
In the Request Status column, click on the status of the request that needs to be changed.
This will present a modal window where the ISSS Admin can select any of the request statuses. Once a status has been selected, click Confirm.
The page will refresh and display the new request status update. If the status has been changed to Completed or Dismissed, the request will move to the Completed Request section. If a Completed or Dismissed request has had the request status modified, it will move into the Pending Request section.
